OUR MISSION:
The mission of the universal Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must orient around the glory of God and seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation.
The mission of the Church is highlighted in 2 Corinthians 5. As those who have been reconciled to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are now ambassadors of reconciliation to a lost and broken world. We plead, urge, implore, reason, pray, serve, preach, teach and gather to see God glorified through reconciliation.
At Mt. Calvary, this mission is best displayed in our communities, where we daily have the chance of living out the Gospel to those around us.

Mount Calvary AME Church is a community of faith rooted in the love of God and committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through worship, fellowship, Christian education, and service, we seek to strengthen our members and make a positive difference in us community.
We honor the faith and dedication of those who came before us while continuing to grow and serve a new generation. Guided by God's Word and empowered by His grace. Mount Calvary remains a place where faith grows, families connect, and all are welcome.
